Maybe my kids won’t know who SpongeBob is or what’s in Patrick’s secret box, but I know at least my friends will know what I’m referencing and maybe- just maybe- the show will make a good comeback. There are so many classic old SpongeBob episodes and I just know that years from now, I’ll still be referencing the show. And even though Plankton is evil and tries to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula, we all still love him in all his Sheldon-y glory.

But, my argument here is that the old SpongeBob episodes are classics and should NEVER be judged based on the crappy, annoying noise the show has put out the past few years. Now, I’m not saying SpongeBob is the best show ever, because just like many shows that have been around for as long as SpongeBob Squarepants, it has definitely fallen short in good comedic material.
